What’s it all about?

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a dynamic, remote-first team at an international software consultancy delivering bespoke systems for clients across diverse industries. This role is all about solving real-world technical challenges, supporting and enhancing systems, and working with a variety of technologies dependant on the assignment. What will you be doing?

• Maintaining and improving bespoke systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Troubleshooting technical challenges across a variety of projects and industries.
• Working with cutting-edge technologies, including:
  • Back-End: C#.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server/SQL Azure.
  • Front-End: Vue.js, React, and jQuery.
• Collaborating directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
• Contributing to small projects and system enhancements while gaining exposure to new tools and techniques.

What do you need?

• Experience: 2–4 years of software development experience, ideally with exposure to maintaining and troubleshooting live systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#.NET Core and SQL Server, plus familiarity with any modern front-end frameworks like Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.
• Problem-Solving: A logical and analytical approach to troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Communication: Comfortable collaborating with clients and team members in a remote-first setup.
• Curiosity: A drive to learn and grow in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
