As a Web Developer (Ruby), you’ll work with blue chip clients on a varied and complex range of projects, interfacing with a cutting-edge data intelligence platform. You’ll be doing more than just writing code, you’ll be called upon to help evolve current and new projects using your experience and innovative ideas.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will possess a strong work ethic, coupled with a proactive and responsible attitude, in order to achieve objectives. You must be able to work to critical timescales in an agile development team, utilizing your organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer science (or related) degree with relevant commercial experience
• Minimum Ruby 2.0 / Rails 4
• RSpec / MiniTest
• HTML 4 + 5
• JS (jQuery)
• Familiarity with UNIX / LINUX environment.
• Worked on one or more projects to WCAG level A or above.
• Having worked with Apache Thrift or another common RPC framework.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Exposure to NoSQL.
• Fluency in a second language.
